Our mission
Good exam preparation has always depended on two scarce resources: high-quality practice questions and expert feedback. Private tutors who provide both cost hundreds per month and are out of reach for most families. We built APEX to break that barrier — using AI to generate unlimited authentic exam questions and to mark them against the real IB assessment criteria, instantly, in three languages.
What we do
APEX covers four IB Diploma subjects — Mathematics Analysis & Approaches, Mathematics Applications & Interpretation, Physics and Chemistry — at both Standard and Higher Level. For each subject we model the real exam structure, from no-calculator papers to multiple-choice and data-analysis sections, so practice always feels like the real thing.
How the AI works
Every question is generated fresh — never copied from past papers — and every answer is marked using the same method, accuracy and reasoning marks an IB examiner applies. The AI tutor uses a Socratic approach: instead of handing over solutions, it asks the right questions to guide you to the answer yourself, building genuine understanding rather than memorisation.
Where we are going
We are expanding APEX towards full IB Diploma coverage — more subjects, Internal Assessment and Extended Essay support, and ever more accurate, past-paper-calibrated grading. Our goal is simple: to be the single place an IB student opens every day to practise, learn and track their journey to a 7.
